Billing & discounts

The team owner pays for everyone. Members don’t manage payment.

The team panel at the bottom of the team dashboard shows:

  • Discount — the per-user discount currently applied
  • Bill amount — what the team is charged
  • Next bill date
  • Premium plan users — how many people the bill covers

Pricing drops automatically as the team grows. Karani recalculates the tier whenever the team’s size changes — there’s nothing to apply for.

Premium users Price per user Discount
1–25 $18.00
26–49 $12.95 28%
50–99 $11.95 34%
100–199 $9.95 45%
200–299 $7.00 61%
300+ $5.00 72%

The count is of memberships on the Premium plan.

Teams marked as legacy keep their existing arrangement and are excluded from automatic discount recalculation. If your team is on a historical agreement, your pricing doesn’t change as you grow.

If you’re unsure which you’re on, ask customerservice@karani.co.

Adding someone increases the bill and may move the whole team into a cheaper tier. Removing someone does the reverse — and can move you back up a tier, so a team hovering at a boundary can see the per-user price rise when someone leaves.

If the team’s payment fails, Karani emails the owner. Update the card under the owner’s Payment settings.

Members’ accounts and data are unaffected by a billing problem — nothing is deleted.

Nothing. While someone is in a payment group, their Karani is covered by the team. The Payment page doesn’t apply to them.

If they leave the team, billing reverts to their own arrangement and they’ll need to set up payment themselves.

For a formal invoice — for reimbursement or an organisation’s accounts payable — email customerservice@karani.co.
