PrayerLetters.com prints and posts paper newsletters. Karani syncs a group to them so your mailing list stays current without you exporting addresses.

Connecting

From Integrations, find PrayerLetters and connect.

Choosing a group

After connecting, select which Karani group syncs with PrayerLetters. You can also Create A Group for PrayerLetters.com from the integration page if you don’t have a suitable one.

Syncing deletes your existing PrayerLetters contacts

Selecting a group to synchronise deletes all of your PrayerLetters.com contacts that currently exist and replaces them with the group’s members.

If you have contacts in PrayerLetters that aren’t in Karani, get them into Karani first — otherwise you’ll lose them.

Keeping it in sync

Once linked, manage the list from Karani:

• Add someone to the group → they’re added to PrayerLetters
• Remove them → they’re removed

There’s also an Erase prayerletters.com list and resync group control for when the two have drifted.

Address quality matters here

Unlike email, a wrong postal address costs you real money — printing and postage for something that never arrives.

Before your first sync:

• Check for contacts in the group with no address. The Grid with address columns shown, sorted, finds them fast.
• Check for obviously incomplete addresses — no city, no postal code.

Logging the mailing

After each send, add a Mail interaction to the group with Bulk tasks & interactions, so Out of Touch Donors knows those people heard from you.

Doing it yourself instead

Download addresses for mail merge and print your own labels. Cheaper, more work.
