Zeffy
Zeffy is a donation platform with no platform fees. Connecting it imports payments and contacts into Karani automatically.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”From Integrations, click Connect Zeffy and authorise.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Automatically imports payments and contacts from Zeffy. Donations made through your Zeffy forms appear as gifts in Karani against the matching contact.

If you already run Zeffy, connect it. If you’re choosing from scratch, the question is whether you want the fee saving or a giving flow that lives with the rest of your Karani setup.
After connecting
Section titled “After connecting”- Check that imported gifts landed on the right contacts.
- Run Potential Duplicate Contacts — donors who gave via Zeffy under a different email arrive as new contacts.
- Set statuses to Donor for new givers.
Reconciling
Section titled “Reconciling”Compare the Gifts Report against Zeffy for a known period. Differences are usually timing — when the payment was made versus when it was imported.
