Paystack
Paystack is Karani’s payment processor for African markets, where Stripe may not operate. It works the same way from your side.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”From Integrations, find the Paystack card and connect. You’ll authorise on Paystack’s side and come back.
You need your own Paystack account — funds go to you, not to Karani.
Your giving link
Section titled “Your giving link”Once connected, your giving link is on the Finances page. Share it or embed it:

Gifts in Karani
Section titled “Gifts in Karani”Gifts made through the link are recorded automatically against the matching contact, typed Online. New donors arrive as new contacts.
Fees and payouts
Section titled “Fees and payouts”Paystack’s fees and payout schedule are theirs, configured in their dashboard. Karani records the gift amount the donor gave, before fees.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”Process them in Paystack, then update the gift in Karani.
Currencies
Section titled “Currencies”Paystack supports the currencies of the markets it operates in. Set your display currency in Preferences so Karani’s figures read correctly.
