Events overview

Fundraising events in Karani handle the whole lifecycle of a gathering: a public registration page, ticket types, attendee tracking, check-in on the night, volunteer roles, and a report afterwards.

  • A campaign is an appeal — a goal over a period, with gifts attributed to it.
  • An event is a gathering — with attendees, tickets, and a door.

An event can be attached to a campaign, so money raised at a gala rolls up into a wider push.

If you’re running a dinner with a target, you probably want both: the event for logistics, the campaign for the fundraising picture.
